I am thrilled to announce some significant changes to our Executive team. As we continue to grow and expand our business, it is crucial that we have the right individuals in the right positions to ensure we are well-equipped to tackle the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Effective immediately, we are pleased to appoint Mark as the Chief Risk Officer. Although his responsibilities and focus will remain largely the same at this point, this new title more accurately reflects the breadth and depth of his expertise in business, legal, credit, risk, and compliance. As the business continues on its growth trajectory the rigors and responsibilities in this area will increase, and this change more adequately reflects the expertise and experience Mark brings to the business. As we continue to consolidate and streamline our businesses, Mark's extensive experience in these areas will be invaluable to support future business growth.
In addition, I am delighted to announce that Sibell has been promoted to the Executive team and will be taking on the role of Chief Operating Officer. With our ambitious growth strategy, it is critical that we have a strong focus on new product development, HR, strategic direction, and implementation. Sibell's proven track record in these areas, combined with her deep understanding of our business and culture, make her the ideal person to lead us forward.
It will also come as no surprise that Leslie will be appointed to Chief Technology Officer following the awesome achievements he has managed in our technology development over the 7 years since commencing in the Head of Technology role. This appointment enforces our stance that technology is a critical part of our future and needs a strong presence on our Executive team.
We see these changes to the Executive team as a significant opportunity to enhance and strengthen all aspects of our business with collaborative efforts and a unified business structure. With the Executive team working together on the strategic plan, we are excited about the possibilities ahead. We will ensure that the broader team is kept informed of our progress as we move forward.
