What led you to join APositive as a Senior Consultant?
It felt like the right next step in my career. I’ve got a solid background in finance and picked up some recruitment know-how during my time in London, so joining APositive seemed like a great fit!
How has your role evolved since you started at APositive?
My role has definitely grown. I’ve been able to get involved in process and project development, which has been really rewarding.
What do you find most rewarding about your position?
Hands down, it’s helping businesses scale and succeed. There’s nothing like seeing a company grow and knowing you played a part in that journey.
How do you mentor and support junior consultants in your team?
I’m all about active listening and guidance. I try to help them think critically and explore different solutions rather than just giving them the answers.
What’s your go-to advice for professional growth?
Never stop learning. The business world is always changing, and you’ve got to stay ahead of the curve to keep your skills relevant.
How do you unwind outside of work?
I’m a big rugby fan and love watching games—whether it’s Super Rugby, internationals, or the NZ National Provincial Championship. I also enjoy hitting the golf course when I can.
