Marketing Manager

About the role

The Marketing Manager will plan and drive all marketing and tender activity to reinforce APositive’s market leading position and achieve financial growth for the business through effective lead generation activities.

Key responsibilities include:

Marketing Collateral and plans
  • Develop/revamp all necessary promotional and marketing material to support the BD team to sell APositive’s services including articulating value to client organisations
  • Ensure internal awareness and engagement on campaigns to maximise ROI
  • Develop and implement marketing plans for existing and new services
  • Develop and implement the core positioning and messaging for the service offerings
  • Develop and implement go to market plans for new services
  • Ensure all service offerings are aligned with APositive’s strategy and reflect our brand and market position
  • Develop & Manage Direct campaigns, including copy, design, performance tracking
  • Liaison and management of key suppliers of creative design, website maintenance, others as required
Partner Management
  • Manage key partner and industry association relationships
  • Structure and negotiate Partner & Sponsorship Agreements
  • Manage implementation of marketing activities agreed to with Partners
Website and social media
  • Ongoing website development, maintenance and oversight
  • Social media strategy and execution including LinkedIn page enhancements and postings, Twitter, other platforms as deemed appropriate
  • Ongoing development of video content for website and social media
  • Regular identification and posting of social media content
  • Develop content for social media & blogs (top tips, infographics, articles, videos, etc) and daily monitoring and response
  • Track and refine website / social media pages based on social media analytics (regular tracking of LinkedIn reach, engagement and followers, Google Analytics)
  • Oversee Google Adwords performance and manage agency
Marketing Budget
  • Develop and manage adherence to agreed marketing budget
Client & Market Intel
  • Capture and share client & market intel across the business through regular surveys and other techniques
Internal Communications
  • Work with the Executive team and Managers on regular and clear internal communications programs

  • Proficiency with CRM (Zoho preferred)
  • Experience using outbound marketing tools
  • WordPress experience preferred
Requirements for the role
  • 5-7 years B2B marketing experience, preferably in finance, fintech or human resources related industry
  • Strong project management skills
  • Digital marketing experience especially setting up marketing automation processes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to generate engaging content for a range of audiences
